Cycling Treasure Hunt in September and October 2020

For some alternative cycling fun, the club is holding a cycling Treasure Hunt during the months of September and October 2020. The event is open to local cycle club members. We have prepared a list of 21 places to cycle to. Lots are flexible and others a bit more specific. The form with the list of destinations (the treasure) will be posted from 20th August on the website http://1066cycleclub.org.uk

Visit as many as you can (no starting until 1st September though), complete the form and send your completed form to Dawn Eldridge. Her details are on the form. Completed forms must be with Dawn by Friday 13thNovember.

There is also a treasure chest for you which you can complete where you can cross off when you visit a destination but this for some extra fun and doesn't need to be sent in.

All participants (even if you only do a few) will get a medal. Medals will be awarded at a coffee morning. We plan to hold the coffee morning late November or early December but this is dependent on Covid restrictions. If you are unable to attend the coffee morning we will make every effort to get your medal to you.

To participate in this challenge donation of £5 would be appreciated. Payment can be made by electronic banking to Account 81412779 / SortCode 40-09-27, or with a cheque made payable to “1066 Cycle Club” and posted to Mr D. Wheeler, 34 Mountjoy, Battle, East Sussex, TN33 0EQ

All donations will be given to Sustrans for their "Raising the Bar" appeal to improve accessibility on the NCN.

We hope you will join us for this cycle challenge and have some fun too.

Please pass this email to other members of your club or they can always join 1066 Cycle Club
